Pizza Sauce with Fresh Tomatoes | How to make Pizza sauce

Pizza sauce

Pizza sauce is a traditional Italian preparation that incorporates just the correct amount of each flavor.

It is a simple sauce made from fresh tomatoes and spices mixed with herbs and garlic that is a great substitute for a store-bought one.

This classic dish is filled with enticing aromas and flavors with a delicious combination of tanginess, spice, and sweetness. This is thick, rich with deep flavors, and is entirely vegan & gluten-free with zero preservatives.

Starting with the exceptionally good sauce is the first step on the way to a tasty and delightful homemade pizza. Pizza sauce is what gives the pizza its moisture, acidity, sweetness, and flavor.

Fresh, ripe red tomatoes are chosen for making it. First, blanch them for a few minutes to remove the skin, and then are pureed or finely chopped. Saute the garlic with a dash of oil and add the tomatoes, cook until the mixture starts to thicken. Next, the seasonings are added with tomato ketchup and cooked until the oil oozes from the mixture. Finally, add the herbs and serve.

This recipe makes enough one for four medium-sized pizzas; double the amount if you want to make more pizzas. Make it beforehand and store it in the refrigerator in a jar with a tight lid for up to 15-20 days.
